FURZEFIELD LEISURE CENTRE DEVELOPMENT

 

Work has started on the refurbishment of Furzefield Leisure Centre as part of a 2 million pound investment programme to provide first class health and fitness facilities for the community.

The ambitious project will include;

  • A new Soft Play and Climbing facility with integrated café/viewing area for the whole family to enjoy. NOW OPEN!  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
  • We have undertaken a major upgrade of the gym with new equipment and an amazing functional training space, which offers high intensity interval training, speed resistance training and neuromuscular training, as well as immersive and entertaining options to keep you motivated. NOW OPEN!
  • Our brand new group cycling studio featuring Stages Flight is now open and offers immersive cycling classes, taking users on an individual cycling journey within in a group environment enabling a full data and connected cycling experience in an immersed group studio setting. NOW OPEN!
  • A new luxury Spa will replace the existing facilities offering a range of experiences for the ultimate in relaxation and wellbeing. Opening Summer 2019
  • Finally, improvements will be made to changing facilities and reception areas. The entire project will be completed by Summer 2019.

The project is funded by Inspire All, who manage the site on behalf of Hertsmere Borough Council.

Front arm and leg lift diagonal - 3 sets for 60s
High knees - 3 sets for 45s
Jumps - 3 sets for 10 reps
Push-ups - 3 sets for 15 reps
Side plank hip raises - 4 sets for 15 reps
Jump squats - 3 sets for 10 reps

Make sure that you have plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated during the workout.
