Gym Upgrade

The project at Furzefield Leisure Centre will include a major upgrade of the gym to accommodate the latest connected gym equipment from Matrix and an amazing functional training space featuring the Technogym SKILL range, which offers high intensity interval training, speed resistance training and neuromuscular training, as well as immersive and entertaining options to keep you motivated.  The new facilities will be opening in January 2019.

New Immersive Group Cycling Studio

As part of the development work we will be introducing Stages flight, our new immersive, power based, group cycling studio. The new facility will provide a unique workout experience with nightclub-style sound system and LED lighting and large screen display, providing a bespoke workout environment.

There will be a great range of classes, seven days a week, to suit everyone, from the traditional Pedal X classes to the new Stages Flight sessions.  In order to benefit from the full immersive experience we recommend you register with Stages Flight.

Once you have registered with Stages Flight, you will need to attend a set up session to complete your registration. These set up sessions will be running between Monday 17th – Friday 21st December at 8.30 – 9.30am, 5.00 – 6.00pm and 8.00pm – 9.00pm.

We will be running half hour taster sessions from Thursday 27th – Monday 31st December at various times, please register your interest.

Jump squats - 3 sets for 10 reps
